The Many Moods of Christmas
Description: Greenwood Singers kicks off its 30th Anniversary Season with The Many Moods of Christmas. The concert will include a variety of motets and carols for Advent and Christmas. The choir will be joined by pianist Jared Samborski and the University of Alberta Faculty of Education Handbell Ringers.

From Renaissance to Broadway – Greenwood Celebrates 30 Years!
Description: Continuing its 30-year tradition, Greenwood Singers presents From Renaissance to Broadway – Greenwood Celebrates 30 Years! The evening’s program will open with Byrd’s magnificent motet, Sing Joyfully, and will include works from the Renaissance to the Broadway stage, including Mendelssohn's magnificent motet for eight voices, Mitten wir im Leben sind and will also feature Samuel Barber's Agnus Dei, based on his well-known Adagio for Strings. The choir will also delve into its history as they sing Prayers from the Ark, a six-movement work by the English composer, Ivor Davies, on texts from the book by Carmen Bernos de Gasztold – a work that the choir last performed in 1982.
